Stag and hen parties in on a yacht in Estepona

ChatGPT told us that these were the most common asked questions for stag and hen parties on a yacht in Estepona. Some might seem a bit silly but decided to answer them any way:

The yacht from behind, picture taken from the sea

⚓ 1. “What’s included in the yacht party package?”

  • Skipper/crew
  • Drinks & snacks: This is in no way a basic charter, on all my tours we provide drinks, such as soft drinks, water, wine, cava and beer. We also provide cheeses, Spanish ham and tortilla, of course some bread.
  • Can they bring their own food and drinks? Of course, especially if you need some special. I don´t provide hard liquor, but if you want to take that along, that´s no problem!
  • Water activities ( a paddleboard, snorkelling and a floating matrass )
  • Optional extras like DJs or catering

💸 2. “How much does it cost per person?”

  • Is fuel included? Yes
  • Are drinks unlimited? In principle, yes. However, the capacity of my fridge is not. The best thing would be that you tell what you generally drink, we can then get more of that cold.
  • Are there hidden costs (cleaning, deposits)? No

👯 3. “How many people can we bring?

  • Max group size? 11
  • What´s the cost: 75 euros per person
  • Is it still “private” if we’re a large group? Well, our trips are always private – so it depends on the size of your group – up to 11 people.
  • Can we split across multiple boats? We can arrange a second or third boat to come along.

🎉 4. “Can we actually party on board?”

  • Is music allowed? Of course, we have a bleutooth speaker. You provide the music.
  • Can we bring alcohol or is it provided? The alcoholic beverages we provide are: wine, beer and cava. If you want something else, you can take it along.
  • Are there restrictions on noise or behavior? We`re going to be out on the sea, make all the noise you want. Behavior, well I hope everybody stays sensible, especially for your own safety!
  • What kind of boat do you use? We have a – what you call – monohull. Picture above. For some reason, some people look for a catamaran but we tell you that all people on a catamaran are always in the front were seating is very poor. Why are guests always in the front of a catamaran – and any motor boat for that matter – you might ask? Well, look at the picture above. On boat my boat – from the back – you find comfortable seating with a big table ( for drinks etc. ) – and you can look 360 degrees around. On a catamaran or motor boat – you will find comfortable seating in the back as well – but also a high entrance to the cabins. So, from the back you won´t see anything hence guests are in the front.

Many providers explicitly market “party on the waves” experiences, confirming demand for a true party atmosphere .

⏱️ 5. “How long should we book for?”

During the day we offer 2 four hour trips at 11am and 15.30. The sundowner trip starts around 20.00 for two hours.

🌊 6. “What can we actually do during the trip?”

  • Swimming stops
  • Dolphin watching
  • Paddle boarding
  • Sunset cruises
  • Sail: to us there is nothing

📍 7. “Where do we depart from and go?”

Typical concerns:

  • Departure point (usually Estepona marina)
  • Route options (Marbella, Gibraltar, open sea)
  • Can we customise the itinerary?

Customization is often a selling point for private charters .

🍾 8. “Can we customise the experience?”

Hen/stag groups often want extras:

  • Decorations
  • Themed parties
  • Catering or lunch
  • Photographer / videographer

Many companies explicitly offer fully customizable packages .

🚤 9. “Is it private or shared?”

This is a deal-breaker.

Most stag/hen groups want:

  • Fully private boat
  • No strangers onboard

Operators emphasize private charters as standard for events .

☀️ 10. “What happens if the weather is bad?”

Common concerns:

  • Cancellation or rescheduling policy
  • Refunds
  • Safety conditions

Not always clearly advertised—so people ask directly before booking.

🧠 What this tells you (if you’re selling these trips)

The pattern is clear:
Travelers aren’t just buying a boat—they’re buying a controlled, hassle-free party experience.

Their questions cluster around:

  • Transparency (price + inclusions)
  • Control (private, customizable)
  • Fun factor (music, drinks, activities)
  • Logistics (duration, capacity, departure)
